This structure is based on a C&O Railway prototype and standard plans for a 10-ton coal house but would be suitable on almost any railroad. Coal storage houses were used as storage facilities for heating fuel for depots, towers and other railroad facilities. These structures were used for storage of other railroad materials and equipment long after their useful life for coal storage had expired.
This structure would also make a great storage shed or outbuilding for your industrial of farm scene.
Kit features laser-cut board and batten walls, door, floor, and sub-roof. Also includes laser-cut peel-n-stick trim and roofing for easy assembly.
